as an Army Brat and wife, i often look back at my own pictures from living all over the world.  when i look back at our posed, in-studio portraits that we took along the way, the only thing i can really tell from looking at the pictures are the hairstyles and clothes that were in fashion (that’s if you’d consider me fashionable?!)- and for most family pictures, just how annoyed mom is (yes, i fall into that category).  the photos i love the most are the ones that were outside of the studio- in the moment.  it’s these photos that help me recall where our family lived, what we were interested in doing, and what we were going through at that moment in time- be it the good, the bad, and even the ugly!  but most importantly, i love the story that they tell.

for a $125 session fee, you will receive a pre-consultation to ask/answer any questions about the upcoming session and a one to two hour session at the location of your choice, an on-line gallery with your images (approx. 20-30), and five digital images of your choosing.   Additional prints and digital images are available a la carte (click here for prices).

i encourage having your pictures printed by a quality lab…there is something to be said about holding and touching pictures as opposed to viewing them on a monitor!  besides, think of how nice it feels looking at pictures on display around your home.
